What is a Supermoon you ask, it is the incidence of a full moon in conjunction with a particularly close orbit  to the earth.  A Supermoon is 30% brighter and more than 10% larger than a usual full  moon.
Get your tripods and remote releases out and capture this unique event this weekend, it should be noted that while the event is being promoted in popular media as happening on Saturday the moon will actually reach its peak on Sunday at 3:36AM.  If you miss it the remaining opportunities this year  will be on June 4th, November 13th and December 13th.
